materialism

A materialistic person is someone who likes namebrand things. I would consider myself somewhat materialistic. Yes, i like namebrand clothes, but thats not all i wear. I will wear clothes that aren't namebrand. I don't think im better than everyone because i have nice things. Materialistic people aren't grateful for what they have, and they take everything for granted. They expect the best of the best. They are usually people that get everything handed to them on a silver platter. They don't have a job, their parents give them everything, and they expect thats how it should be. Life isn't all about the material things. Material things, and money cant make you happy. They can make you happy for the moment but in the long run, you will realize they wont make you truly happy. Would you rather spend your life having alot of money and nice things with no one who loves you or cares about you?, or spending it with someone who loves and cares about you, but you don't have alot of material things?
